Chevron simulator

The chevron simulator will allow you to interactively simulate a chevron plot by adjusting the microscopic rates and m-values using sliders in the rate matrix.

You will need to download the (free) LabVIEW runtime engine version 8.2.1 from the National Instruments website to run the executable.

Once you've installed the program, adjust the rates in the rate matrix using the sliders and the m-values (on the m-value tab).  You can also change the optical properties of each of the species.  The plots will continually update.  You can also overlay experimental data onto the chevron and equilibrium plots.  There is also an option to switch the plotting from lifetimes to rates.  I think the Matthews lab is the only that plots chevrons using lifetimes :)
